THE APPLICABILITY OF TYPICAL HEDGE FUND STRATEGIES
Abstract
Abstract: The aim of the study is to examine the base characteristics and to verify the practical moduses and perspectives of applying some typical hedge fund strategies under current market conditions. Although they have been steadily working under augmenting regulatory pressure, the Hedge funds have historically produced positive returns and reduced the risk, that is standard for the traditional portfolio management. We are looking for the answer to the question „how can these strategies be put into practice of different types of investors and what their effect will be under today's market conditions“.
