Financing art projects through cultural funds for freelance performers
Abstract
The aim of the paper is to present the possibilities and challenges faced by freelance performers in terms of finding fundraising for their projects through different cultural funds. The methodology includes observation, four case studies and primary sources. The research shows that performers have different difficulties when they apply for project grants and have to find other sources of funding in order to have full financing of their projects.
