THE LUXURY FASHION GOODS MARKET IN ITALY AND FRANCE – STATE-OF-ART AND PERSPECTIVES
Abstract
This paper presents the definition of luxury fashion goods, their
characteristics, elements and classification. We present the factors that motivate the
customers to buy luxury fashion goods, the situation in the fashion markets in Italy and
France and a comparative analysis between them. We discuss some of the tendencies
and perspectives in the sectors for both countries.
